The Environmental Justice Health Alliance and 58 other organizations submit public comments urging improved Risk Management Plan rule

59 organizations representing fenceline, community, worker, environmental justice, business, conservation, science, health and other constituencies affected by chemical disasters and EPA’s Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulation and program, many disproportionately impacted by chemical hazards and incidents, submitted these comments on July 30, 2021 in response to Docket ID Number EPA-HQ-OLEM-2021-0312.

The Coalition to Prevent Chemical Disasters includes community members, environmental health and justice organizations, health professionals, and labor groups, calling on the EPA and other federal agencies to enact stronger regulations for facilities that use, store, and manufacture hazardous chemicals.
